PROJECT 2066 - Design a bus for the future

1066 is a significant date in history, but 2066 will be a significant date in the future for the Museum and FirstBus Worcestershire. Together we have launched a competition for schools, colleges and individuals to imagine what public transport will be like in around 50 years' time, the year 2066.

The competition compares buses from 1916, 1966 and 2016 to show how technology, design and innovation have changed over the last 100 years and asks "What will the next 50 years bring?"

The competition is open to all age groups and entries can be drawings, posters, models or digital media of any kind. Prizes will be awarded to winners at the end of each term. Each school or college taking part can book a free visit to the museum to see the thorough collection of classic buses and receive three free family admission tickets to be used as prizes.

At the end of the competition, all entries will be sealed in a time capsule to be re-opened at Easter 2066. Lots more details and entry forms can be found at www.wythall.org.uk/2066
